A co-founder of the ZFS team at Sun Microsystems, Matt designed and implemented major components of ZFS including snapshots and remote replication. He was a leader on the ZFS team, growing it from 2 founders to over a dozen developers. He holds 21 patents in the area of file systems management. He has a BS in Computer Science from Brown University, and joined Delphix in 2010.
Kyle is the designer of Embarcadero Technology’s DB Optimizer and a principal designer for the Oracle Enterprise Manager performance pages. He is a member of Oracle Oak Table, the co-author of Oracle Insights: Tales of the Oak Table, and was a technical editor of Oracle Wait Interface. He holds a patent in the area of database performance diagnosis, and has been a speaker at Hotsos, NOCOUG, RMOUG, NYCOUG, Oracle World and DB Forum. Kyle also teaches classes around the world on Oracle performance tuning.
Adam is a co-inventor of DTrace and the winner of several industry awards, including the top prize for the 2005 WSJ Technology Innovation Awards program, the 2005 InfoWorld Innovator program, and the USENIX STUG award in 2008. At Sun Microsystems, he worked in the Solaris kernel group and was a founding engineer in Sun’s Fishworks group. He also led the flash memory technology team at Sun and later at Oracle. He currently sits on the illumos developer council, and has 11 patents filed or pending. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Brown University, with honors, and joined Delphix in 2010.
Eric was a founding engineer at Sun’s Fishworks group and a member of the Solaris ZFS team. He is a regular contributor to Illumos, holds one patent and has several pending. He joined Delphix in 2010 and has a BS in Computer Science, with honors, from Brown University.
For over 10 years Vinay was a technical leader and Director in the RDBMS High Availability group at Oracle. He is a co-inventor of Oracle Active Data Guard and RAC Cache Fusion. He holds 15 patents filed and pending in the area of recovery protocols and standby systems. He has an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering, with honors, from Brown University. He joined Delphix in 2010.
Mike has been working in the computer industry for over 30 years, primarily on database software at Tandem Computers, Oracle, and Delphix. He was co-inventor of Flashback Database and Data Recovery Advisor at Oracle. He holds two patents in database recovery. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from Stanford University.
