Gartner Magic Quadrant: The "DMsuite Spot"

It's only mid-January and 2013 is gearing up to be a VERY interesting year for the data masking space already! The end of 2012 saw the release of Gartner's first-ever data masking Magic Quadrant report and since the new year began, there has been quite a bit of buzz about it amongst all of the industry players. As the pioneers of the data masking space and the only provider to offer an enterprise cloud-based solution, we were pleased with the write-up. Gartner Analyst Joseph Feiman summarized our DMsuite offering by saying the following: Axis is for users that need to mask data on various platforms through user-friendly graphical user interfaces (GUIs). Axis offers its technology at a reasonable price, and provides strong technical support and professional services to meet clients' specific needs. Strengths *DMsuite is a Web-based application, which enables multiple distributed user access to its features. *Axis has recently started offering cloud-style SDM as a service. *It offers a user-friendly visual interface, as well as easy-to-learn and easy-to-configure technology, at a reasonable price. *Axis masks Hadoop data. *Its consultants are available and willing to help implement and customize Axis' SDM to client needs. Gartner classifies data masking "Leaders" as major enterprise IT providers that are featured in a variety of Gartner Magic Quadrants. What does that mean for Axis Technology? DMsuite's product tagline is "data masking by design" which essentially says we are lazer-focused on data masking, and DMsuite has continually evolved to meet and exceed the needs of our clients. In fact, many of the world's largest financial institutions, healthcare organizations, and retailers are protected by DMsuite. Or, to put it a different way: chances are you are doing business just about everyday with a company that depends on DMsuite for its sensitive data protection. While we may not be a "household brand," the majority of our clients most certainly are! So for 2013 our resolution is to gladly accept the challenge that the market has put in front of us, as highlighted by Gartner. That means this year you can count on hearing from us a lot more! We broke ground and paved the way for the advent of the data masking space more than 10 years ago, and we've continued to shape and guide the market with each new version of DMsuite. 2013 will be the most ambitious and aggressive year for us yet, and we are looking forward to boldly sharing each milestone with you all.
