Delphix Weeks of Giving

This year we've started what I hope is a new holiday tradition: Delphix Weeks of Giving.

This year we've started what I hope is a new holiday tradition: Delphix Weeks of Giving. Many people throughout the company and a small, dedicated, volunteer group have been working to provide the Delphix team with holiday charitable giving opportunities in the first 3 weeks of December.

Today is the beginning of the 2nd week, and I've been moved and thrilled by the results from the first week: so far we've had >30% of the company participate in some fashion -- including many efforts outside of the organized events for our HQ-area offices.

Prior to Delphix I worked at companies with established holiday giving traditions that I've participated in, but I've never been on the ground-level trying to create these traditions. It's hard to predict what will resonate with a broad audience, and it has been gratifying to have this level of participation the first week. So far we've participated in a fun run, donated items to a silent auction, purchased holiday gifts for underprivileged children, participated in a food drive, made many donations and matching requests for other charities, attended a couple of volunteer events, and knitted scarves for the homeless.

We have a lot planned for the remaining 2 weeks, and I am hopeful that the level of participation will continue to increase and that the tradition will continue to grow along with the company. Thank you all for being so generous this holiday season!
