This was a really exciting day for me. Delphix was lucky enough to host 29 5th graders for an Hour of Code. The bright eyes, curiosity and enthusiasm of the students was contagious! The Delphix volunteers who worked with the students had a blast, and the office was full of smiles and laughter, and it was great to see the connection between student and mentor. Mentors are pictured below (we aren't allowed to show the students). At a time when it feels we are inundated with negative news, this event provided an inspiring look into our future.

For those not familiar with Code.org, it is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color. They believe every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science. I'd like to thank Hadi Partovi, the founder of Code.org, for his commitment to improving diversity in computer science and inspiring students to love technology at an early age.

I've also been inspired by seeing the Delphix family working side by side with the 20 interns we are hosting this summer. I'm addicted to learning and see it happening all around me every day as our engineers and product managers fulfill their interest in teaching and sharing their knowledge. I know they enjoy working with the interns and see this as an investment in our future.

I'm grateful to the team that organized the Hour of Code and all the Delphix professionals who are so committed to sharing their love for technology every day. They keep me young and give me great hope for our future.

Nice work team!
