An Hour of Code for All

Helping the next generation get comfortable with code

Join David Cruz, Grant Magdanz, and Jaclyn Schoof for a conversation about how Delphix’s annual partnership with The Boys & Girls Club is helping underprivileged kids gain early exposure to the world of tech with Hour of Code. For more information on how to get involved with BGCP, visit

Grant Magdanz

Grant Magdanz is a member of engineering and works on the SQL Server virtualization team. Within technology, he enjoys thinking about code design and architecture. Outside of technology, he loves to cook, be outside, and be involved in his community. Computer science education is near and dear to his heart and something he believes students of all ages and backgrounds should have access to.

Jaclyn Schoof

Jaclyn Schoof has worked at Delphix for a little over four years, first starting as a Support Engineer and then moving to Support Operations and Program Management. In her 'spare time' she helps with D&I, Delphilanthropy and DIVE.

David Cruz

David Cruz grew up in Menlo Park and East Palo Alto going to the Boys & Girls Club as a child. He is now the Corporate Partnerships Manager for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula and works to bridge the resources in Silicon Valley to the low-income youth of the SF Peninsula.
